Out of the Box

It is the nature of children to seek comfort, stimulation,
companionship, and more in the objects around them.
A child can make a toy out of anything - a stick, a toilet
paper roll, or even a discarded spork. Some children
have more toys than they could ever play with gifted to
them by a large and loving family. Other children must
rely on their own creativity to find what sparks their
imagination. But whether a toy is store bought or
handmade, brand new or handed down, electronic or
carved from wood, when a child truly loves it, then that
object becomes a Real Toy. And then it’s time to come
Out of the Box, and take on a sacred role as
companion and protector of that Child.
